Those who like to believe that the media's push of interracial relationships--particularly among Dark Brown men and women--is about unifying, should think twice after recent comments from Clippers owner and overseer, Donald Sterling.

Sterling's attempt to force Stiviano to identify herself only as a "white or Latina," is a Willie Lynch tactic ripped directly from the Willie Lynch letter, as follows:
You must use the DARK skin slaves vs. the LIGHT skin slaves, and the LIGHT skin slaves vs. the DARK skin slaves. You must use the FEMALE vs. the MALE, and the MALE vs. the FEMALE.
YOU MUST ALSO HAVE WHITE SERVANTS AND OVERSEERS [WHO] DISTRUST ALL BLACKS. But it is NECESSARY THAT YOUR SLAVES TRUST AND DEPEND ON US. THEY MUST LOVE, RESPECT AND TRUST ONLY US.
The conversation also reveals that Sterling is not alone in his beliefs, and that it is in fact a belief of the "world culture" to never publicly accept, promote or broadcast support for black people.
This should serve as a wake up call to all who have, past or present, engaged in interracial relationships--myself included. Not all white people are with you because they love black people. Some white people only date interracially in order to push the acceptance of the ideology that, "white is right and black is wrong."

Like Stiviano, Halle refused to shun her roots and fired back at Aubry. But how many of us don't fire back? So quick to assimilate and buckle to an ignorant societal pressure that forces people to deny their Dark Brown roots?
